We follow the Suzuki Method for beginner students, to which we gradually introduce additional technical work (scales, double stops, shifting techniques, etc), additional repertoire, note reading, theory, and ear training in a more traditional approach, as supported by the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. We utilize the writings and exercises of Galamian, Yost, Sevcik, Kreutzer, Wohlfahrt, and numerous others in the building of a solid foundation of technique as the levels progress.
